Abstract

The invention comprises complex compounds of stannous salts of inorganic or organic acids with N-substituted organic carboxylic amides, and their production by mixing the components, optionally in the presence of an inert solvent. Specified components are stannous chloride, bromide, fluoride, sulphate, orthophosphate, hypophosphite, metaphosphate, oxalate, tartrate, acetate, butyrate, hexoate, octoate, oleate and p-toluenesulphonate; and N,N-dimethylformamide, N,N - diethylformamide, N,N - dimethylacetamide and N - methylacetamide. The complexes are catalysts for polyurethane production (see Specification 1,003,201 in Division C3).
