Abstract
1,005,753. Automatic exchange systems. TELEFUNKEN PATENTVERWERTUNGS G.m.b.H. Nov. 24, 1961 [Dec. 14, 1960], No. 42094/61. Heading H4K. An arrangement for interconnecting a number of subscriber's lines and a small number of exchange lines, as in a concentrator system, comprises an electromagnetic cross-point switch for each exchange line, represented by relays I, II, the magnets being controlled by transistors x 1 , x 2 . . . y 1 , y 2 . . . which are common respectively to the columns and rows of the switches. The transistors x 1 , x 2 . . . are preferably of PNP-type while y 1 , y 2 . . . are preferably of NPN-type, and the latter may, if necessary, be controlled through further transistors z 1 , z 2 . . . acting as invertors. The armatures are released upon brief excitation of the controlling magnets and are retained until re-set by a common electromagnet. Specification 891,873 is referred to.
