Abstract
1,002,054. Safety razors. CLIMAR A.G. June 24, 1964 [July 31, 1963], No. 26035/64. Heading B4B. In a magazine razor, the blade 3, Fig. 1, is held between rigid and resilient clamping plates 1, 2 of plastic, the plates 1, 2 having gripping portions 6, 7 which are held together by means of a easing 8. The portions 6, 7 have interengaging surfaces 10, 11. The plate 2 is rendered resilient by the provision of recesses 16, 17, Fig. 2, and a slot 18 and the plate has detachably secured thereto a metal plate 20, Fig. 4, provided with hooks 24, 25 for engaging the edge of the blade. The casing is held in position by means of a pin 14 on the portion 6 engaging a threaded portion of the casing. In a modification, a rigid clamping plate 27, Fig. 10, of plastic has a recess 29 in which is mounted a blade clamping plate 28, the plate 28 being urged against the plate 27 by means of a resilient brace element 30 of plastic. The plate 27 and element 30 have gripping portions 33, 34 which are positioned by means of a shoulder 36 engaging a recess 37 and held together by a casing 35. The casing has an opening 39 into which snaps a button 38 on the portion 33; when the button is pushed inwardly, a resilient arm 40 of the portion 33 retracts into a recess 41 and moves into the recess 42 of the portion 34.
