Abstract

1,098,767. Gas burners. R. HEINRICH. Aug. 2, 1966, No. 34577/66. Addition to 1,033,345. Heading F4T. A burner tube 2 of a gas heater is supplied from a mixing tube 5 outside the heater casing 1, said tube 5 having an adjustable insert 6 at least partly within a housing 4, with cover 4a which is supplied with gas through nozzle 8 and primary air through a tube 9 connected to a duct 10 adjacent air inlet 23, the duct 10 being in the form of a box extending the height of the heater and parallel thereto and having a secondary air outlet 22 below the primary air connection. Flue gases from the burner escape through a tube 11 coaxial with inlet 23. Tube 9 contains a flap (13), Fig. 2 (not shown) mounted on a bi-metallic member (14) which controls the primary air flow dependent on its temperature.
