Abstract

Crystallizable random copolyesters are made by reacting ethylene glycol with at least two acids selected from terephthalic acid, 1:4-diphenoxybutane - p,p1 - dicarboxylic acid and p - g - hydroxypropoxybenzoic acid (or with ester-forming derivatives of these acids) and thereafter polycondensing the resulting products. Uses: fibres and films.
