Abstract

1,092,258. Processing photographic colour materials. EASTMAN KODAK CO. Dec. 9, 1964 [Dec. 9, 1963], No. 50076/64. Heading G2C. A multi-layer colour-coupler-incorporating photographic silver halide material is colourdeveloped, treated with a stop-bath containing bisulphite ions, then with a bleach stabilizer containing alkali metal and/or ammonium ions, ferricyanide, bichromate and thiocyanate ions, and finally with a stabilizer containing alkali metal and/or ammonium ions, bisulphite and thiosulphate ions. A washing operation is not required at any stage and the process may be used for rapid processing of coloured oscillograph records.
