Abstract

1,089,205. Tea making apparatus. H. S. HUGHES and M. HUGHES. Nov. 2, 1964 [Sept. 30, 1963], No. 38414/63. Heading A4D. In a cabinet enclosed tea making apparatus for use in a motor vehicle, a boiler 18 is connected, by means of a socket 28 in the cabinet wall, with the vehicle battery. Switch 15 controls the boiler heater and an -indicator lamp 16 or 17 and, on reaching boiling temperature, a bimetallic strip opens the heater circuit and lights the other lamp 17 or 16. Steam pressure in the boiler transfers the water, through pipe 26, 27, into tea pot 19. An expansion valve and ,heat insulation 25 are provided. Ring brackets 20 support drinking beakers which enclose containers for tea, milk and sugar. The door of the cabinet 10 can be lowered for use as a tray.
