Abstract
1,086,414. Lampholders. CARR FASTENER CO. Ltd. March 1, 1966 [April 9, 1965], No. 15222/65. Heading H2E. In a multiple lampholder for mounting on a vehicle dashboard, socket contacts 2a-2h and centre contacts 9 are connected to circuitry a printed on one face of a panel 1, and contact pins 10, also connected to the circuitry a, extend from the opposite face of the panel. Each socket contact is formed from sheet metal with a thread to receive a screw-based lamp and legs (5) (Fig. 4, not shown). The latter are snapfitted into slots in the panel by means of lugs (6), and one of them is then soldered to the printed circuitry.
