Abstract
1,085,704. Component assemblies. NATIONAL RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION. Oct. 29, 1965 [Oct. 30, 1964], No. 44373/64. Heading H1R. [Also in Division G1] In apparatus for detecting unauthorized removal of a library book, museum piece, or an article for sale [see Division G1], a printed resonant circuit is attached to the object to be detected. As shown in Fig. 3a, the printed circuit comprises an insulating card 36 bearing a conductive disc and rim 37, 38 co-operating capacitively with a disc 41 and rim 40 on the other side of the card and interconnected by an inductive spiral 39. A straight conductor 42 interconnects disc 41 and rim 40. Cuts 43 in the discs and rims reduce eddy currents.
