Abstract

1,083,159. Watch cases. FABRIQUE D'HORLOGERIE CHS. TISSOT ET FILS S.A. Nov. 24, 1965 [Dec. 22, 1964], No.49938/65. Heading G3T. In a watch case having a side wall 1 of plastics material, e. g. nylon, a flange 5 on the glass 4 engages a metallic ring 10 disposed in an annular groove in the inner surface of the wall 1. The flange 5 is pressed by a resilient ring 6 against the ring 10 and its edge engages a split ring 8 engaged in a groove 9 in the wall 10. The ring 8 is undulating and axially resilient and maintains the axial positions of both the glass 4 and the watch movement.
