A roller bearing cage, having a single axial split, comprises bars 3 connected by end rims 5 to form apertures 2, flanks 10 of the bars converging in a radially inward direction so that the minimum distance between the bars is less than the diameter of the rollers. Thus the rollers always project radially outwardly from the cage. The flanks are plane in the region of the pitch cylinder. The cage is bent from a punched-out strip of material.
