Abstract

1,081,854. Inking and damping-apparatus. DRUCKMASCHINENWERK PLANETA VEB. Sept. 16, 1965, No. 39563/65. Heading B6C. A sheet offset printing-machine comprises a plate cylinder with a drive gear wheel 1, and inking and damping distributing rollers 5, 7, 8, 9, 10. The gear-wheel 1 drives an intermediate gear-wheel 3 which drives distributer roller gear-wheels 4, 6, the wheel 6 driving an intermediate gear-wheel 11 which drives distributer roller gear-wheels 12, 15. The wheel 12 drives an intermediate gear-wheel 13 which drives a distributer roller gear-wheel 14. The gear-wheels 4, 6, 12, 14, 15 have splined bores engaging axle journals of the distributer rollers to allow axial reciprocation thereof. The assembly of intermediate and distributer roller gear-wheels forms an independent constructional unit which is enclosed in an oil-tight and dust-proof manner in a box-shaped side-wall by a lid.
