Abstract

March 14, 1917. self-driving machines.-Weighted levers B pivoted on the periphery of a wheel A remain at a mechanical advantage on the right half of the wheel owing to a free-wheel device at each pivot and after hanging down on the left half are reset by passing a fixed (but adjustable) incline h at the top. The light end of the lever bears a cam pallet g and a roller f, the former to encounter a roller k at the end of the incline, and the latter to run under the incline. Roller disks p on the weight ends of the levers travel along a guide q in ascending on the left.
