Abstract
1,079,357. Rectifying. P. A. BENNETT. May 26, 1966 [May 26, 1965], No. 22457/65. Heading H2F. A D.C. motor is supplied from an A.C. source through a plug-in control unit comprising one or more thyristors and their associated control components. A control potentiometer may be either in the plug-in unit or mounted separately and connected by some of the pins of the plug. The heat sink for the thyristors acts as a protective cover for a printed circuit board holding the other components.
