Abstract

1,079,173. Transistor multivibrators. AUTOMATIC TELEPHONE & ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. May 1, 1964 [May 2, 1963], No. 17438/63. Heading H3T. A transistor multivibrator has a two-stage amplifier inserted in one only of the crosscoupling paths, between the collector of one transistor and its coupling capacitor. This may prevent inequality of the two timing periods due to the loading of the output transistor. In the Figure (not shown), the additional amplifier comprises two common emitter stages in cascade, the second stage also being used as an emitter follower to feed an output transistor.
