Abstract

1,078,808. Spray-producers. H. W. JENSEN. Aug. 4, 1964 [Aug. 1, 1963], No. 31138-64. Heading B2F. [Also in Division F2] In a nozzle valve fitting suitable for fitting to hoses, e.g. those used in milking machine bails, a pin H is provided to move a loose ball E from its seat B, the pin being slidable in a bore J directed at an angle to the outlet. In an alternative construction the pin may be aligned with the axis of the nozzle and the outlet directed at an angle thereto, and more than one discharge opening may be provided. Lever means may be provided on the nozzle to actuate the pin. The free end of the pin lies within an imaginary cylinder defined by the outer surface of housing A to obviate damage to the pin.
