Abstract
Wetting-agent- and water-free, water-dispersible tile grouts comprise a liquid epoxy resin based on glycerol and epichlorohydrin, a filler and a pigment. Specified are: curing agents-polyamides and triethylenetetramine; fillers-ground malachite, sand, fused silica, glass and alumina, slate powder, talc, barytes and china clay; and as a pigment-TiO2. In preferred embodiments the compositions are obtained by mixing (1) two components comprising (a) the pigment, the epoxy resin and some of the filler and (b) the curing agent and the remainder of the filler, or (2) three components consisting of (a) the epoxy resin and pigment, (b) the curing agent and (c) the filler.
