In a warp knitting-machine for producing fabric having laid in weft and warp yarns, guiding means 13, Fig. 1, 2 for the laid in warps 4 are attached to the web holder 8. The holder includes either needles 9 or sinkers for production of plush fabric. The guiding means may comprise wire loops, eyelets; or forward projections of the needles, sinkers or pins disposed in front of the needles.
