Abstract
Compounds of formula <FORM:1078118/C2/1> wherein Alk1 is a C1- 4 saturated hydrocarbon chain, Alk2 is an alkylene group with at least two carbon atoms in the chain between the group -NR1- and the benzene ring, R1 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group and R2 and R3 are hydrogen or halogen atoms or hydroxy or alkoxy groups, are prepared by dehydration of compounds of formula <FORM:1078118/C2/2> in an acid-reducing medium.
