India-rubber springs. - Bufler and similar springs, formed of rings of rubber secured to annular metal plates, have the plates roughened for the attachment of the rubber rings by the formation of grooved corrugated or toothed surfaces such as spiral or other threads b on concentric grooves. Similar interposed plates may be employed.
