An articulated chain for supporting flexible cables or tubes comprises links C, D which are pivoted together by pins a passing through hinge parts c 2 , d 2 , the link C having depending legs c which prevent relative movement, from the straight chain position, in one direction, by engaging upstanding legs d on links D, and allow limited relative movement in the opposite direction determined by the engagement of the legs c with shoulders d4 formed in the links D.
