1,074,392. Photographic materials. KALLE A.G. Jan.22, 1965 [Feb. 4, 1964], No.8396/67. Divided out of 1, 074, 391. Addition to 950, 761. Heading G2C. A photographic material comprises an aluminium support coated with a phosphinic acid or derivative thereof and then with a layer containing a condensation product of a diphenylamine-4-diazonium salt with formaldehyde, a phenolic resin and/or a polyvinylacetal. A novolak and polyvinyl formal and butyral are the specified resins. If the material is imagewise exposed, it may be developed to give a printing plate as set out in Specification 950,761.
