Abstract

1,072,037. Rotary grass cutters. R. NEVILLE. Jan. 7, 1966 [Oct. 7, 1964], No. 40881/64. Heading A1F. A cutting rotor 7 is mounted in a frame 4 and has driving wheels 9 in frictional contact with ground wheels 2 supported by a frame 1. The frame 4 is pivoted to the frame 1 to allow sufficient relative movement to allow the wheels 9 to be disengaged from the ground wheels 2. A leg guard 16 (Fig. 3, not shown) is associated with the rotor.
