Abstract

1,072,005. Roof lining; expanded polysty. rene strip. INSULATIONS Ltd. and H. S. WOOD. Sept. 9, 1965 [Dec. 4, 1964], No. 38493/65. Headings E1K and E1W. A roof lining comprises one-or, (as shown), two-piece strips 13, 13' of expanded polystyrene stuck to the roof support members 15 and having edge grooves supporting the ends of expanded polystyrene sheets 17. The twopiece strip 13, 13' may have a tongue-andgroove connection 16, and an alternative shape of strip has a simple vertically arranged longitudinal slot (Figs. 1, 4, not shown) by which the strip is fitted to the downwardly projecting flange of an L- or T-sectioned support member, (Fig. 1) or to a downwardly projecting plate 9 fixed to a Z- or [-sectioned support member, (Fig. 4). The expanded polystyrene sheets may have tongue-and-groove interconnections intermediate the support strips.
