Apparatus for drying bed-pans and the like comprises an inverted trough 1 of transparent acrylic resin having hooks 12 for suspending the bed-pans 13 above pipes 18, 24 through which hot water or steam may circulate. The trough or hood is mounted on wall 11 by brackets 10 and shelves 25 may be supported from the pipes for the reception of urine bottles 26.
