Abstract

1,071,316. Letter boxes. CLIFFORD BROTHERS Ltd. Jan. 28, 1966 [April 7, 1965], No. 14677/65. Heading A4T. A letter plate comprises a channel frame having the aperture in its base and inwardly facing grooves in its sides, as flap covering the aperture and end plates with ribs entering the groove, and complementary pivot means on the flap and end plates allowing the flap to hinge on the pivot axis. All the parts may be extruded, and the plates and flap have at the top an arcuate rib entering an arcuate recess in the frame.
