Abstract

1,070,229. Printing-apparatus. DRUCKMASCHINENWERKE LEIPZIG VEB. May 24, 1965, No. 21850/65. Heading B6C. Apparatus for printing a web 1 in multicolour on one or both sides comprises a plurality of printing couples having impression rollers 2-5 co-operating with printing cylinders, and a plurality of endless guide bands 7-11 arranged to guide the web between the printing couples, one end of the bands 9 and 10 being guided on eccentrically mounted rollers 16, 15 which are adjustable in position depending on which couples are operative and which sides of the web are to be printed by the said couples. The apparatus also includes eccentrically mounted friction rollers 21 which may be adjusted in position so as to drive the belts 7 and 8 from the cylinders 2 and 3 respectively.
