Abstract

1,064,607. Burning waste liquids. KLÍCKNER - HUMBOLDT - DEUTZ A.G. Sept. 29, 1965, No. 41326/65. Heading F4B. Organic matter present in waste liquids or sludges is oxidized or gasefied in a chamber of cylindrical cross-section having a gas outlet at its upper end and a fan 2 rotating in a horizontal plane immediately below the gas outlet. The waste liquor or sludge is introduced through nozzles 9 delivering tangentially, additional fuel is introduced tangentially at 10 and combustion air is introduced tangentially at 12. The hot waste gases may be used to preheat the air or waste liquid or sludge.
