Abstract

Compounds of the general formula <FORM:1063891/C2/1> (wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl or ethyl group, R2 represents a halogen atom and R3 represents a hydrogen atom or a C1- 3 alkyl, phenyl or p-hydroxybenzyl group) are prepared by reacting a compound of the formula <FORM:1063891/C2/2> with more than one mol equivalent of hydrazine hydrate in the presence of an inert solvent.
