Abstract

To ensure accurate spacing of the warp yarns (8) in the dents (7) of the reed a rod (2) with a two start thread is moved into a position (1\sv), so that the peaks of the threads enter the dents, and is then moved upwardly to the position (1") so that the warps enter the troughs of the threads and are guided accurately through the reed.
