Abstract

1,061,089. Folding stands for cots. MOTHERCARE Ltd. Jan. 24, 1966 [Feb. 1, 1965], No. 4300/65. Heading A4H. A stand for a cot comprises two inverted U-shaped legs 1, 2 pivoted at the mid points of their sides and held in open position by an H-frame 6, 7, 8 pivoted to a cross bar 4 on one of the U-shaped legs and provided with end hooks 10 for engaging a further cross bar 5 on the other U-shaped leg. Additional hooks 11 on the frame determine a second alternative setting of the legs. Two pairs of articulated links 12, 13 and 14, 15 are pivoted at their free ends to the legs 1, 2 and assume a triangular position when the stand is open. The frame 6, 7, 8 may be swung out of use and the articulated links used to hold the legs in a further splayed out position.
