Abstract
Carbamic acid derivatives of the general formula <FORM:1059660/C2/1> wherein, R1, R2, R3 and R4 stand for alkyl, aralkyl or aryl residues, or R1 and R2, or R3 an R4 may jointly represent a tetra- or pentamethylene chain, R5 represents a methyl residue or a hydrogen atom and R6 represents an alkyl, aralkyl or aryl residue, are prepared by reacting a 1,3-amino-propanol of general formula <FORM:1059660/C2/2> with a ketone of the general formula R3.CO.R4, with water separation, and further reacting the tetrahydro-oxazine thus formed with a chloroformic acid ester of the general formula Cl-CO-O-R6 in the presence of a basic HCl acceptor.
