Abstract
1,054,715. Stackable and nestable containers. LINVAR Ltd. Sept. 20, 1965 [Sept. 23, 1964], No. 38821/64. Heading B8P. A storage plastics bin capable of at least partially nesting within a similar bin, has means on its base, such as a rotatable arm or a slidable strip of spring steel, which can be projected beyond the margin of the base to engage the upper edge of a lower bin for stacking, and withdrawn within the margin of the base for nesting. The sides of the bins have protuberances 17, Fig. 2 (not shown), which engage the top of a lower bin when nested, feet 25 which hook over the rear wall of the lower bin when stacked, and a hooked projection 27 which is engageable in a stampedout recess in a panel 29, Fig. 7 (not shown), so that bins may be spaced vertically on said panel. The short front wall of the bin may comprise a holder for a card or label.
