Abstract
1,052,601. Screw sockets. AFRICAN MALLEABLE FOUNDRIES Ltd. March 19. 1965 [April 7, 1964], No. 11867/65. Heading F2H. A bolt 1 is anchored in a rock hole by rotating it to move, towards one another, a nut 5 and a freely-slidable sleeve 4 resting on a stop (such as a nut 3) to force outwardly a saddle 6. The saddle 6, nut 5 and sleeve 4 are malleable castings with complementary oblique faces 8, 10. The outer end of the bolt 1 may bear a nut or clevis for attachments and turning.
