Abstract

1,052,020. Glazing. ELTREVA A.G. March 16, 1964 [March 14, 1963], No. 10945/64. Addition to 1,036,339. Heading E1R. A window frame glazing assembly comprises a shoe 30 having guide rails 17 engaging with the supporting foot 16 of an eccentric 7 rotatable about a pin 9 and having a flat 6 and a cylindrical surface 7 arranged to press a pane holding strip 5 against the putty bed in which the pane (shown double glazed) 4 is embedded the shoe 30 having a lateral extension with a longitudinal slot 32 so that the extension underlies the frame 1 and the shoe being secured adjustably longitudinally of the frame, and both secured to the wooden frame 34. A heat insulating layer may be provided between the overlapping frame and shoe. The elongated slots 32 are provided between the rails (Fig. 1, not shown) when no extension of the shoe is necessary for mounting on a fooden frame.
