[Also in Division C3] Guanidines which are substituted three or more times and which contain at least one cyclohexyl radical which may or may not be substituted, are prepared by reacting isocyanide dihalides with primary and/or secondary amines, at room temperature or slightly elevated temperature, in aqueous alkaline solution.
