Abstract

1,050,016. Agricultural implements. G. LAPORTE. Feb. 28, 1964 [March 2, 1963], No. 8499/64. Heading A1B. A tractor-mounted rotary cultivator is provided with a feeler 27 which acts on a distributor to actuate a hydraulic ram 29 to laterally move a cultivator 12 which is mounted on a frame 11 and connected to a main frame 1 by links 7, 8, the ram being connected to the link 8. The cultivator 12 is driven from a tractor power shaft through a shaft 14 and is offset to one side, a wheel 20 being provided on the frame 11 to support the cultivator. The frame 1 may be provided with wheels and also guide blades which travel in the ground and prevent the frame 1 from moving sideways.
