Abstract

1,049,352. Centrifugal distributers. AMAZONEN-WERKE H. DREYER. April 14, 1965 [April 27, 1964], No. 15994/65. Heading A1D. A centrifugal distributer comprises two centrifugal discs 6 mounted side by side and rotatable in opposite directions, the discs being provided with vanes 8 which are radially adjustable, the vanes on one disc being displaced in relation to the vanes on the other disc, the two discs being arranged so that the paths of the vanes partially overlap. As shown one disc 6 is provided with recesses 7 which in a modification (not shown) are formed by depressing parts of the disc to form depressions without removing material. In a further modification arcuate portions are removed from both discs and the vanes do not project outside the discs.
