[Also in Divisions B7 and E1] Rack gearing for a tubular conveyer comprises a flanged channel member 32 secured to the tube wall by clips 44 and having perforations 40 which may be engaged by teeth on endless belts. Alternatively, the rack may comprise spaced rotatable rollers 152 mounted within a channel member 150 secured to the underside of a T-beam 120 clamped to the wall of the tube. The rollers 152 are engaged by a sprocket.
