Abstract

1,046,829. Drain-cleaning devices. WOMAAPPARATEBAU WOLFGANG MAASBERG & CO. G.m.b.H. Oct. 11, 1965 [June 2, 1965], No. 43043/65. Heading F2N. In a drain-cleaning device comprising a nozzle body carrying nozzles 4 directed obliquely backwards to produce rearward jets when the device is connected to a trailing hose 2 for the supply of water under pressure, the device being propelled through the drain by the reactive thrust exerted by the jets, the nozzles are arranged at the rear of the body with the axes thereof in a common plane and the body has a forwardly-extending slide member 5 with ribs 11 inclined at an angle to the axial plane of the nozzles to produce rearward and downward inclination of the nozzles.
