Abstract

1,046,574. Seats. E. F. HOLMSTROM. April 22, 1965 [April 24, 1964], No. 17094/65. Heading A4U. In a resilient chair having a spring device connecting the pedestal and the seat the spring device serves as the sole connection between the base and seat portions of the chair and comprises two leaf springs A and a cross-piece B connecting the free ends of the lower limbs 1 of the leaf springs. The upper limbs 2 of the leaf springs are connected to the seat portion of the chair and the cross-piece B is connected to the base of the chair, Figs. 3 and 4 (not shown).
