Abstract

1,045,880 Shelves. EUSTACE & PARTNERS Ltd. Dec. 2, 1963 [Dec. 19, 1962], No. 47891/62. Heading A4B. A shop-fitting unit comprises inter-connected uprights 1 having base members 3 which are either formed integrally with the uprights or consist of two spaced plates 4, 5, with a plinth sheet 6 secured by catch plates 7 to their front edges and a base shelf 9 connected to the base members by inverted U-shaped channel members 10, 11. The uprights 1 may have C- shaped channels 2, Fig. 7, (not shown) which are adapted to receive turnbuckles 18 of shelf supporting brackets 15. Back panels 14 may be arranged adjacent the forward edges of the uprights 1 and retained in position by flanges 20 on the brackets 15. The uprights 1 may have base members 3 and channels 2 extending towards the back and front of the unit, and drawers may be slidably mounted between the base members in place of a plinth sheet 6.
