Abstract

A mask that covers both nose and mouth has self-erecting arms for securing the mask to the head of the wearer. The optional features specified are:- the arms may be extensible, may carry a flexible loop for engagement with the wearer's head, and when extensible may be biased to a retracted condition. The mask may be completely stowed and quickly donned.
