1,042,736. Window frame corner joints. A. WACHTER, [trading as ALFRED WACHTER KOMM GES]. June 28, 1963 [Oct. 19, 1962], No. 25730/63. Heading E1J. A plastics corner connecting piece 5 for hollow rectangular-sectioned window frame members 1, 2, is itself hollow and has grooves 6 running along each side to allow the connecting piece, which is originally larger than the internal dimensions of the frame members, to be compressed and located within the frame members. An external annular disc 7 Fig. 2 (not shown) is carried by the connecting piece across the corner thereof, and the frame members 1, 2 are butted up against the disc and welded to the connecting piece.
