Abstract

Cyclohexadiene-1,3 is polymerized using lithium n-butyl as a catalyst in an organic solvent medium at above room temperature. The polymerization is effected in an inert atmosphere. Preferred solvents are toluene or benzene. The polymer is precipitated with methanol.
