Abstract

1,042,413. Frame structure. G. K. CHRISTIANSEN. March 25,1964 [March 26,1963],No. 12558/64. Heading A6S. A toy building set has a frame comprising lower and upper frame members 2, 5 and posts 3, 4. The lower member 2 has a groove 21 which engages studs of building elements 1 and recesses 22 which receive projections 31, 41 of the posts 3, 4. The post 4 has two grooves 43 and a second projection 42 which engages recesses 52 of the upper member 5 which member has on its upper surface studs 51. The post 3 has a plane outer wall which lies flush against elements 1 (Fig. 1 not shown), and it may be provided with an upper projection. A post similar to the post 4 may be used horizontally to separate two parts of a window in which case it is used without end projections, or the vertical posts can be provided with recesses to engage such projections. The frame is suitable for windows but it could be used for partitions and wainscotting.
