1,041,489. Gate-leg tables. F. AUSTIN (LEYTON) Ltd. Aug. 11, 1965 [Aug. 11, 1964], No. 32638/64. Heading A4H. The underframe of a gate-leg table has a centre beam 1 with a leg 5, 6 at each end and pivotally attached to the beam 1 on each side and intermediate the ends a movable beam 7 or 8 carrying a leg 9 or 10 respectively, the ends of the beams 7, 8 having bifurcations received in angled slots 13, 14 in beam 1 which slots act as stops limiting movement of the legs. The table top consists of a centre piece and two drop flaps.
