[Also in Division B5] A method of making a tube or tubular enclosure or container from a web of material comprising a layer of synthetic resin heat-sealed as a laminate to a backing layer, the two layers being aligned and of substantially the same width, wherein along a strip zone adjacent to one edge of a web the synthetic resin layer is free from, and unbonded to the backing layer, comprises rolling or folding the web to bring the opposite edge of the backing layer into overlapping relationship with the first-mentioned edge where it is bonded between the separated layers of synthetic resin and backing material of said strip zone.
