Abstract

1,040,995. Mounting pictures &c. WALTER B. SIMON Ltd. March 31, 1965 [May 27, 1964], No. 21961/64. Heading A4X. A picture or photograph mount comprises a backing sheet 2 of stiff paper, card or plastic and an equi-sized transparent sheet 3 of polyvinyl chloride or cellulose acetate attached thereto by adhesive applied only along marginal portions which do not extend beyond a frame printed or stuck on sheet 2 or on the transparent sheet, the backing sheet having an incision 6 which permits insertion of the picture 1 between the sheets. An aperture 7 in the backing sheet enables an adhesive strip to be applied to grip the back of the picture and hold it in place.
