Abstract

Apparatus to be worn by a patient to aid in the control of stammering comprises an astable multivibrator circuit connected to an earpiece or a pair of earpieces. The apparatus is transistorized and may be small enough to be worn on the head or within the external ear canal and produces a regular clicking sound to the beat of which the patient tries to speak. Where only a single earpiece is required, a blocking oscillator circuit may be used.
